✈️ Airlines & Flights Operating / Planned from Navi Mumbai Airport

IndiGo

It will be the first airline to operate from NMIA.

Initially: ~18 daily departures to 15+ Indian cities.

Plans to scale to 79 daily departures (including ~14 international) by Nov 2025.

Further growth: ~100+ daily departures by March 2026.

Akasa Air

Also confirmed to operate from NMIA.

Will start with ~15 daily domestic flights.

Plans for ~40+ domestic + 8–10 international weekly flights by Summer 2026.

Air India Group / Air India Express

Air India Express will start 20 daily departures from NMIA initially.

They plan to scale up to 55 daily departures (110 ATMs), including 5 daily international flights, by mid-2026.

📍 Routes / Destinations (Planned From Day 1)

Per early launch plans (from media reports):

IndiGo: Will connect NMIA to 15+ domestic cities from day one.

Akasa Air: Will begin with domestic services, including Delhi, Goa (Mopa), Kochi, and Ahmedabad.

International Flights: IndiGo and Air India plan to start international departures in a phased way (14+ for IndiGo, 5 for Air India Express by mid-2026).

📆 Key Dates & Operational Timeline

NMIA’s first commercial flights are expected to start around late October / early November 2025.

According to some sources, ticket bookings for NMIA flights are now open.

By March 2026, operations are expected to scale significantly, including international services.
