28 Maoists surrender in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur
Twenty-eight cadres of Communist Party of India (Maoist) carrying a cumulative bounty of ₹89 lakh on their heads surrendered before the police in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district on Tuesday (November 25, 2025), said the police.
“Under the initiative ‘Poona Margem: From Rehabilitation to Reintegration’, a significant achievement was secured today in Narayanpur district, where 28 Maoist cadres carrying a cumulative reward of ₹89 lakh decided to abandon the path of violence and return to the mainstream,” said Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range) P. Sundarraj.
