A Delhi court on Tuesday (December 16, 2025) granted the Goa police a two-day transit remand of Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, the owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Goa where 25 people were killed in a fire on December 6.
The two accused, who had fled from the country soon after the incident, were deported to India from Thailand. A team from the Goa police arrested them at the airport in Delhi and produced them before Judicial Magistrate Twinkle Chawla in the Patiala House Court, who allowed two days transit remand against the police’s request for three days.
