Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (November 25, 2025) ceremonially hoisted the saffron flag — Dharma Dhwaj — at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, signifying the completion of the Ram Temple’s construction.

Mr. Modi hoisted the right-angled triangular saffron flag, 10 feet high and 20 feet long, bearing the image of a radiant Sun symbolising Lord Ram’s valour, an ‘Om’, and the Kovidara tree. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak (chief) Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth were also present.
